On January 1, 2023, after much prayer and other providence, I knew we had the final confirmation to put up Lisa’s house for sale in NZ. This was a huge risk for Lisa and our daughter Kealey because now they would be without a home, and the prices for empty land in NZ was very high and what if we couldn’t find something affordable, after we sold the home? Nonetheless, we obeyed Father and Lisa trusted my lead. The transaction itself was called a “miracle that only God could have done” by Lisa’s father. We very blessed and then exactly 555 days later, after more than 2.5 years of keeping our eyes out for land we could possibly one day afford, we closed on our little lot/section, which exceeded our expectations in every single way for what kind of land the Lord would eventually provide us with.
The Lord Went Above and Beyond
Land and homes are not something the Lord promises to His followers in His word. We feel the Lord has gone WAY above and beyond what He promises to give to His faithful followers, in giving us a piece of land to live on for the rest of our days here on this earth. Material blessings are not something we expect much of as Christians and servants. We are already so rich in His spiritual blessings and that keeps us so satisfied, but we also see the Lord’s remarkable benevolence towards His children with a few material gifts like this, as He sees fit to give in accord with His plan and grace for each of His children. In particular, Lisa felt this was a specific blessing and kindness from the Lord to her, after some of her particular suffering and waiting on the Lord!
