We are Michael and Lisa Chriswell.  In 2011, The Lord gave me a Mark 5:19 call to “tell the story of all that I have done in your life.” Since that time, the transparent sharing all of God’s dramatic dealings with me, have been my primary ministry message. Before initially leaving YouTube in Feb 2023, and then re-launching a brand new channel on June 25, 2025, my original channel had over 12 million views.   While I was the lone face of the ministry for the first 14 years, in 2024, Lisa joined me as my full-time partner, helping me with a great deal of the behind the scenes website admin and creation of all new content, even though she had very little computer experience.  I am so proud of her efforts and we have both been amazed at the grace of God which has helped her in our work, so much.  

Others have described this ministry as putting “clothes” on the naked truths of the Bible, incarnating the rich, but often abstract, biblical principles and truths, of what it means to truly walk with and obey Jesus Christ.

The first 19 years of my “Myselfianity” didn’t look anything like God’s dealings with others in the Bible. However, after my full surrender on October 30, 2009, my walk and life with Christ looks and feels like it came straight out of the Bible.

Mine has not been a dignified, or a “bow tie” Christianity, and God has not spared my ministry from stumbling blocks or scandal. I am His full-time servant, who has been married three times, after being left and divorced by two unfaithful spouses.

Contrary to what most “Christians” in the West believe about their Bible and their practice of “Christianity”, there is NO dignity to be found in the stories and lives of the Bible, until you get to the last two chapters.

On the contrary, the Bible, in between the occasional wonders, is FULL of unexpected twists and turns, ups and downs, zigs and zags, mysteries, reversals, perplexities, injustices, scandals, and painful sufferings.  That has been the same experience for Lisa and I, in our walk with Jesus Christ.

I believe in, practice, and preach the true, cross carrying, self-denying, world hating, faith walking, Christianity which Jesus Christ taught and bled for. The true narrow path is the most difficult thing Lisa and I have ever done in our entire life. This is a life which requires tremendous encouragement and patient endurance…a willingness to suffer long for the One who has the words which lead to eternal life, The LORD Jesus Christ!  We must enter into the kingdom of God through many hardships and we must be willing to take up our cross, denying ourselves, by His grace, to do His will, trading this “life” for the true life to come.  Here, we are just passing through.  May God help all of us to understand that and live accordingly, more and more, as we get closer and closer to HOME!
